MMN Protocol
The MMN Protocol defines the principles under which the Miraculous Medal Network operates as a distributed system of content, contributors, and affiliated initiatives. It establishes the conditions of participation, the framework for content use, and the structural logic that allows the network to remain open while preserving its structural independence.
MMN exists as a decentralized network of stories, initiatives, and contributors connected through a shared narrative focus. Participation in the network does not imply ownership of its infrastructure, and affiliation does not grant authority over its direction. The network is unified through alignment rather than control.
A central function of MMN is to provide a unified framework for the collection, preservation, and authorized use of stories related to the Miraculous Medal. These stories are often dispersed across fragmented sources without a consistent mechanism for reuse or attribution. MMN addresses this by establishing a shared content system in which contributors may choose to make their content available under defined permissions.
Content submitted to MMN may be made available for broader use under a standardized licensing framework. Contributors may grant permission for sharing, redistribution, and, where explicitly allowed, adaptation or contextual reuse. These permissions are structured to ensure clarity while respecting the intent and authorship of the original contributor.
Unless otherwise specified, content within MMN may be referenced and shared with proper attribution to the network. Additional permissions depend on the conditions under which the content was contributed. Commercial use is not the default assumption and must remain consistent with the spirit and intent of the network.
Participation in MMN is open and non-exclusive. Individuals, organizations, and communities may engage by contributing content, referencing the network, or incorporating its materials into aligned efforts. Affiliation is expressed through adherence to the MMN Framework, often indicated through attribution or linking to this protocol.
Each participant retains full independence in their own operations. MMN does not act as a governing authority over its participants, and participants do not possess authority over MMN. This mutual independence enables the network to expand organically without becoming centralized.
Financial contributions do not grant authority, influence, or control over the network, nor do they alter the principles defined in this protocol. The relationship between support and governance remains structurally separated.
MMN is designed to remain independent from external authority and to prevent the imposition of editorial or structural control from outside the network.
By participating, sharing, or affiliating with MMN, all nodes acknowledge that MMN exists as a network that can be supported by anyone, while remaining structurally independent from external control and influence.
This protocol is constructed in accordance with the MMN Framework. Please visit the Framework page to learn more about MMN's foundational principles and structure.
